Tea Bar Metro is my new addiction. I have been to the Tea Bar Jungle in Rowland Heights many times but recently I really like this location because they have a bunch of innovative concoctions that are quite tasty. Warning : Their drinks are good but not cheap. The good this is that they use these super durable cups that are almost like regular cups and they also offer a Yelp check-in for one free large drink upgrade.

They have a small salad bar with some interesting selections. I liked that they offered guacamole, mango salad, and chicken salad. Still, I wish they had a wider variety that other churrascarias provide. Oh well, guess I will just have to eat the meats! =9
My favorite reason to eat Brazilian BBQ is so I can get my hands on some delightful Pan de Quiejo! I just wished that the bread had its own basket to keep warm.
My favorite cut is the Picanha. It's always the most flavorful and has the best texture in my opinion. The best cut is to get it when it's hot off the grill because the flavor is maintained on one side, while the other is still juicy.
Lunch is always cheaper than dinner, but the weekday lunch did not offer the mysterious pork belly bacon like cut. We decided to go on a weekend for lunch as they still offered the pork belly and less than their dinner price. Almost everything offered on the dinner menu was served for lunch on the weekend.
All in all the meats were not bad but I wasn't over the moon. I did enjoy the pork belly cut when it was fresh off the grill. It's almost like a tasty porchetta! We had to request it to get this meat, so be sure to ask if it does not come. The Espetus in San Mateo is a lot better than the San Francisco location, but that's not hard to do. They just opened the Fogo de Chao in San Francisco, so it will be tough to see which place I'd go next time up in the Bay Area.

Join Whole Foods for a bread-breaking ceremony on February 17th at 9 am, followed by a day-long celebration with music, samples and tasty food demos.
At Whole Foods Market in Brea they will be offering ramen and sushi from Kikka.
They have a wide variety of fresh fruits from local farms.
I loved that they have prepacked meats and fish that were nicely seasoned and vacuumed sealed. Very convenient for people on the go or would like a quick and tasty dinner.

Who doesn't love an adorable gelato? I couldn't resist trying Eiswelt Gelato after seeing the enticingly cute photos online! Since I was out in Garden Grove to pick up some snacks, I had to stop by so I can check this place off my list!
They serve gelato made from whole milk and no artificial flavoring/ingredients. All their gelatos are made in small batches so no product sits on the shelf for any long periods of time. Here they actually offer Durian gelato that is quite pungent and fresh. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
All the gelatos have a very smooth and solid texture. You can choose from a bear, pig, or the monkey in honor of the lunar calendar. The prices are very reasonable and generous portions. I decided to choose the pig with the piglet but I had to see what the monkey looked like and forced Ms. Lin Guide to have some on me. I am such a slave driver, huh? lol
I tried a bunch of their different flavors but they were all just okay. The only flavor that really popped was durian. Beware, this is only for people who know what durian tastes like and enjoys it like I do. For the little piglet I wanted to choose a color that will not take away from the cute little piggy, so I settled for the Taro. This was just okay and a little light in taro taste for my liking. All in all the flavors were just okay but the cuteness is UNDENIABLE! Great for photos! Needless to say we took a bunch of selfies and played with the little piggies and monkey for a while. O=D It;s definitely worth a visit, but not a place I'd frequent unless I see another cute design that I must take pics of. The service was friendly and I left a nice tip for her services.
