Happy 4th of July!

I wish I could be chilling like a villain. Unfortunately... I will be ROASTING in Vegas! ^_^ It's a double edged sword. Sorry that I haven't been able to post because Ms. Lin just came and has been bothering me, I mean keeping me busy. I also have an exam today @_@ so I am typing one last message before I head out to my exam. Did I mention that as I am typing this, information is vacating my brain! lol We will be gone until Sunday night, so I won't be doing any posts probably until Monday. I wish you all a HAPPY 4th of JULY! Stay in a cooler place than I will be! ^_^

I am eagerly waiting for your update on the Vegas trip...sounds like fun! (Ok, except for the heat - hope your A/C was working.)

I'm anxiously awaiting your update too! Bumblebee and I found some really yummy macaroons and chocolate in Beverly Hills!

Hi Lorebitxi,

Thanks for reading my blog. I hear that blogger is working on the 3 column format. If they have not gotten to that design yet, I would recommend you doing a search on Google. Run a search for a 3 column Template script and you can insert the script easily into the "edit html" to paste the text & voila! You will have a 3 column format for your site. If you have any more problems, please feel free to post here and I will try to help!

Hi BumbleBees! ^_^ You guys are so cute! Thanks for reading my site! I have been SOOOOO TIRED b/c of Ms. Lin! She left today so I finally get some time to sleep and I will try to catch up with editing and posting! ^_- Got to keep you all entertained. We should give Lil BumbleBee a nickname toO! =) Where did you guys get the Macaroons? I also heard about the Sprinkles cupcake you brought her. You guys should try out Dot's Cupcakes if you like cupcakes. I personally think the Red Velvet at Sprinkles is way too sweet for me, but I really enjoyed their Banana Nut cupcake and Carrot Cake. I need to go back again sometime soon to post about them ^_-

Ooh oh yah, if you called me I would have told you to go to Asakuma's for lunch instead of Nagao Sushi. It's extremely hard to find any top Sushi Bars open for lunch. I only know of a few, but if you ever want to go for nice Sushi Bars at night... I have got tons of recommendations! ^_^

We got to try the strawberry cupcakes at Sprinkles and that's my favorite so far. Orange/vanilla/lemon are second I think. Boule is the place we got the macaroons and chocolates and it's walking distance from Sprinkles! Yay, only had to hunt to parking once!

BTW, if you are going to Boule, you should actually go to the main store on La Cienega. The Beverly Hills store has limited items, and they don't have boxes smaller than a dozen macaroons. Also, their ice cream machine is broken and the girl at the counter said that the ice cream is REALLY good.

Oooooh great advice BumbleBee's Sister. So the macaroons were great? I was looking at macaroons in Vegas and they didn't look that good & were expensive. I sometimes get macaroons from this patisserie in Venice that's pretty good. I will be sure to check out Boule and maybe actually going to Sprinkles for the first time. After my next Vegas trip, I will come up to LA just to check them out! ^_^ You are always welcome to come join me on my foodie adventures!!! The more the Merrier! ^_^

Ironically, I am about to post about this horrible dessert/ice cream/gelato place in Vegas. I need something good to wash the bad taste out of my mouth! Although there's this other place I plan to check out next week in Vegas. O=) They also sell macaroons.

Yes, the macaroons are excellent but I went there again yesterday with my coworker and maybe it's because it's at the end of the day, the macaroons are a little "crunchy" on the outside. The nice girl who works there gave us 2 pastries that were REALLY good. One is the chocolate brioche bread and the other is the Le Tigre. Soo good! The fleur de sel caramel is really good too! Maybe you can call me "honeybee" ;) as it is slightly smaller than the bumblebee and always hunting for "honey" or good food!

I would LOVE to join you on your foodie adventures, BUT my dining out budget often needs to be approved by my other half, who is quite indiscriminate when it comes to food. He is MUCH more generous when bumblebee is in town. When I told him Omakase at Echigo is $50/person, he almost had a heart attack, he was relieved that Nagao was only half the price ;). Plus your student schedule is so much nicer than mine *sigh* I probably have to spend most of my time drooling over your pictures. BUT Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon might be good times for me to slip away.

What! You guys are planning things behind my back?!!!!! Please pre-clear all activities with me.

I like the name HoneyBee! Sounds very cute and sweet! ^_- Wow the way you rave about Boule makes me want to try it real soon! After I get back from Vegas again, I will try to come up to LA. Yes we should definitely go out on Foodie Adventures! We don't always have to go for expensive, cheap eats are great toO! I will most likely go to Monterey Park some time soon to get my favorite lobster and wontons in hot chili oil! YUM YUM! ~drool drool~ =9 If you like bakeries or sweets there are many places I can take you to! I promise to post about them soon to show you the yummy pics! ^_^

Ha ha you are so cute BumbleBee! That's right we are totally plotting behind your back! Mwahaha! It's revenge upon you and Ms. Lin going out without me... =*( Besides we scope out the goods for you guys to try when you get back ^_- just like how you and Ms. Lin will do the same. Although I will at least post about them! We need to twist Ms. Lin's arms to get her to post!! I even edited the photos! She's LAME! O=)
